Tec Inc. Engineering & Design provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for the Legends Aviation Museum & Hangar in Northeast Ohio, a premier facility dedicated to celebrating and preserving America’s aviation history. A standout feature of the project is the installation of an underfloor boiler heating system, a highly specialized solution in aviation facilities, designed to maintain comfort and performance in the expansive hangar space. The hangar is also fully air-conditioned, offering an enhanced environment for both aircraft preservation and visitor experience.

In addition to the hangar, Tec designed supporting spaces to accommodate the museum’s operations and guests, including office suites, a full commercial kitchen, and rooftop HVAC units for efficient building performance. To meet the facility's unique operational needs, the design also incorporated an oil interceptor to safeguard against potential aircraft fluid leaks and a grease interceptor for kitchen operations.
