Ariel Arena is home to the MVNU basketball and volleyball teams. The arena seats 2,100 for sporting events and can accommodate up to 3,000 people for concerts, performances and special events. Ariel Arena includes A/V and wireless connectivity and features a competition court that can be divided into multiple practice courts. Locker rooms for home teams, away teams, and referees. Tec completed the electrical engineering, technology design and lighting design for this project. This project was completed in REVIT. Separate cardio fitness and weight training rooms contain the latest fitness equipment. The cardio fitness equipment is connected via wireless access for information tracking and entertainment. Both rooms use key-card access stations to restrict access to appropriate users. The state-of-the-art Athletic Training Center provides the team trainers and medical staff with facilities to provide the best support to the athletes. This lower-level area includes classrooms as well as coaches and athletic staff offices. A special event banquet hall seating 225 includes an on-site kitchen for catering food prep. The hall features lighting and shade control to change the atmosphere of the room for different events. A spacious lobby overlooking the arena provides a gathering space during events and includes a cubicle for concession sales.
