Tec Inc. completed engineering and lighting design services for two of Kent State University’s Regional Campus Libraries - Ashtabula Campus and Trumbull Campus. The projects required electrical engineering, lighting design, technology design, and mechanical engineering for HVAC improvements. The renovation project includes a new circulation desk, student workstudy area, a quiet reading area and new classrooms. New technology capability was added to the facility. Additional functionality was added to the circulation desk. A new Cyber Cafe and Computer Training Classroom were included. Lighting design included a complete re-lighting of the facility using energy efficient fluorescent fixtures.
