Tec Inc. Engineering & Design provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing service for a new electric Lake Tran Bus Station to be located at the Southeast corner of the main Lakeland Community College parking lot entrance. The bus station will include an electrified connection in the canopy for charging the electric buses. The station floor plan will include a lobby area, public restrooms, storage areas and mechanical/electrical rooms. The facility will have independent utility services taken from route 306. In order to service Laketran’s new electrical bus systems and infrastructure, Tec Inc. teamed with CT Consultants to provide services for the upgrades. Included in this project, the property required the instillation of an electric bus charging station, in addition to the reconstruction of the Wickliffe location’s Park’n’Ride lot.
