Matthew Johnstone

Electrical Engineer

Matthew Johnstone is a member of our electrical engineering & design team, working primarily from our Columbus office. After a year in the manufacturing industry, Matt joined the team to relocate to Columbus. 

​

When Matt joined Tec, he transitioned to electrical engineering from his education in mechanical engineering, quickly learning about panels and power distribution systems. Most of his experience has been on higher education, civic, and commercial projects, assisting senior engineers with ​documentation and calculations.

​

Matt enjoys the opportunities he has to see behind the scenes at the facilities he works on, especially at OSU since he is an alumnus.

​

His heartfelt appreciation for his coworkers is demonstrated by his jovial attitude which brings levity to our office. He is rarely seen without his signature hat coinciding with holidays or the time of year.  ​
