Job Description:

Student internship or co-op experience at our headquarters outside of Cleveland, Ohio (Eastlake) or our Columbus, Ohio office. 

Students pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering will get real-world experience working on projects under the mentorship and supervision of an engineer in the office.

Students will:

​

• Learn drafting standards in AutoCAD and Revit.

• Calculate air flow or electrical loads based on the discipline.

• Specify equipment.

• Conduct fieldwork (under supervision) to assess existing conditions.

• Layout HVAC/Plumbing or Electrical systems.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architects.

 

Tec can accommodate interns/co-ops any semester. Students must work in the office (no work from home).  For local students, we can accommodate working around class schedules.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university

• Pursuing Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Architectural Engineering

This job is open to candidates with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and/or Optional Practical Training (OPT).
