Tec, Inc. provided MEP engineering services for a phased renovation of the Chardon Medical Office Building for Lake Health Physicians. Renovations included the lobby, patient waiting areas, nurse’s station and supply/storage spaces as well as exam rooms.

The existing mechanical, fire protection, lighting, and power system were modified for the remodeling of the spaces. The HVAC design used the existing system and reconfigured the duct and new diffuser locations. The existing fire protection heads were reconfigured for the new use of the space. The new lighting, lighting controls, matched the building standard with the use of LED where feasible.

General-purpose receptacles were provided for the remodeled area. The existing fire alarm devices were relocated as needed and new exit and emergency egress illumination was provided.
