Parker Aerospace

Mentor, Ohio

An existing warehouse was renovated into Parker Aerospace Gas Turbine Fuel Systems’ new headquarters which included explosion-proof and hazardous materials rooms. The space was divided into 27,000 SF of laboratory space, 40,000 SF of office space, and 65,000 SF of machine/shop space.

Tec designed new power distribution, lighting, and site utilities including new electrical service to the building. The design incorporated a custom cable tray system to run all utilities—electrical, HVAC ductwork, argon, compressed air, and chilled water— above the lab. Utilizing a one-team approach, the engineers and architect worked with the owner to establish the best locations for all equipment and coordinate the utilities serving the equipment.
