Tec Inc. completed engineering and lighting design services for two of Kent State University’s regional campus libraries, Ashtabula and Trumbull. The projects required electrical engineering, lighting design, technology design, and mechanical engineering for HVAC improvements. The renovation projects included new circulation desks, student work-study areas, quiet reading areas, and new classrooms. New technology capability was added to each facility. Additional functionality was added to their circulation desks and a new cyber cafe and computer training classroom was incorporated into each library.
