Sam Leib

Sam is an electrical designer in our Coulmbus office. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and recently passed the FE Mechanical Exam on the path to earning his professional engineering license. Before joining Tec, he spent 10 years working in Guest Relations at the Columbus Zoo, where he developed strong communication and problem-solving skills while creating positive experiences for guests every day.

Drawn to engineering by his love of problem solving and puzzles, Sam is excited to bring that same mindset into the firm. He was especially interested in Tec’s team atmosphere, where collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on learning are a priority from day one.

Outside the office, Sam enjoys staying active and keeping busy with pickleball, golf, video games, music, reading, and cheering on his favorite Ohio sports teams. A lifelong Ohioan, Sam appreciates everything the state has to offer, from Cedar Point to rainy days and thunderstorms.
