Working with the architect, Tec Inc. completed the engineering for a complex, multi-phased renovation of the 2-story, 20,000 sf clinic and surgery center for Lasik and Cataract Surgery in Ohio. The project included an expansion of the operating room capacity and improved the patient experience. The improved patient experience is supported by a state-of-the-art clinic, operating rooms, and equipment. The increased capacity demanded a system overhaul including full HVAC replacement and emergency generator upgrades. The project doubled the operating room capacity and increased pre and post-op bays. The second floor clinic increased the number of exam and testing bays, and the capacity within the building, allows the surgery center to add two additional surgeons. The phased project required significant coordination to keep the practice operable throughout the construction.
