Recognizing the need for an event venue that was available during normal Zoo hours, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo—with financial partners Aramark and the Cleveland Zoological Society—has constructed Stillwater Place. Strategically located across from the Zoo’s Circle of Wildlife Carousel and Waterfowl Lake, this 10,000 sq. ft. he year-round banquet center features an outdoor patio with fireplace, dance floor, bridal dressing room, reception capacity for 300 guests, and heated and air-conditioned transportation to the venue.

Stillwater Place features professional event planning services with upscale catering and state-of-theart audio/video system. The facility was designed and constructed with sustainability and impact on the environment at top of mind.

Tec completed the full mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering. Sustainable design elements included energy efficient lighting systems installed throughout the facility—including 50 percent LED lighting—and high efficiency HVAC systems, low flow lavatories, and high efficiency hot water heaters to help the facility conserve water and energy.
