The Ohio State University Baseball and Softball Stadiums Broadcast Infrastructure Upgrades

Columbus, Ohio

Nestled within The Ohio State University's dynamic sports landscape, the Baseball and Softball stadiums are set to undergo transformative broadcast infrastructure upgrades by Tec Inc. These updates aim to elevate replay capabilities, expand camera installations, and enhance overall broadcast connectivity across both venues.

Tec Inc. designed pathways for the comprehensive fiber optic networks to support 11 cameras at the Buckeye Softball field and 10 at the Bill Davis Baseball field. The project includes deploying robust power solutions for camera enclosures and new truck connection points, alongside installing a new 1.5-ton split system in the technology room.

These upgrades are pivotal in maintaining The Ohio State University's commitment to top-tier sports broadcasting standards. Construction was strategically phased to accommodate ongoing stadium activities seamlessly to ensure minimal disruption.

Building on successful partnerships, Tec Inc. previously collaborated on infrastructure enhancements at OSU, including electrical upgrades with Zinkon Creative Studio in 2020 and MEP engineering with MSA Design in 2019.
