The project encompasses an 8,500 square foot, single-story, renovation of an existing restaurant space. The new space for Bar Italia restaurant included a full kitchen, bar, lobby, and seating area.

Mechanical Engineering included reconfiguration, modification and additions to the existing HVAC system branch ductwork and diffusers for the renovated space. Supplemental interior equipment such as fans and additional make-up air units may were designed to accommodate the new space configuration and use of the space.

Electrical Engineering included new lighting systems throughout, emergency lighting and lighting controls to accommodate the new space configuration. General power devices and branch circuit wiring within the space were modified to accommodate the new space configuration. We used the existing 1200-amp, 120/208 volt electrical service and main panel located on the mezzanine for the renovation.

Plumbing Engineering included design of modifications to the existing water, sanitary, storm and venting systems to accommodate the relocated or expanded restroom, kitchen, and plumbing facilities. A fire protection performance specification was prepared to relocate existing sprinkler heads to accommodate the new space configuration.
