Job Description:

Electrical or Architectural Engineer (Electrical) | Project Manager responsible for performing building systems project design and development tasks for construction projects. Responsible for managing technical design staff and client relationships. The Senior Electrical Engineer will interface with clients and design staff as well as assist with procurement and development of business.

Responsibilities

​

• Electrical design of power distribution, lighting, safety and IT/AV systems for architecture

• Complete construction drawings, calculations, cost estimates and specifications

• Respond to client questions and comments

• Review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during construction

• Manage, train and mentor electrical engineering / design staff

• Scheduling of staff resources

• Communicate and coordinate with architects, owners, other engineering disciplines, vendors, building officials, other consultants throughout the design phases of the building project

• Manage project budgets and schedules within the contract and client’s requirements

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Architectural Engineering

• 8-12 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for institutional and/or commercial building systems

• Professional Engineering license 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Visual and MS Office software 

• Interpersonal skills beneficial

• RCDD beneficial
