Retired | Founder | Chairman Emeritus

The founder of the firm, Terrance M. Kilbourne opened Tec Inc. Engineering & Design in 1983. Guided by values that put employees first, he created a company where employees want to spend their careers, the average tenure is 15 years. 

Mark Ghazzoul

Electrical Engineer

Mark Ghazzoul is an Electrical Engineer at Tec Inc. with experience in power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, and utility service design. He has contributed to a wide range of projects, including healthcare and hospital facilities, industrial buildings, pump stations, commercial buildings, office spaces, c-stores, and restaurants.

Joelle Poploske

Office Manager

Joelle has been part of the Tec Inc. team for over 25 years and is a friendly face that welcomes everyone walking through the door of our Cleveland office. Her duties include managing accounting, invoicing, and office duties.

Elizabeth Buchtinec

Electrical Engineer

Elizabeth joined our firm with a fresh perspective and excitement about the engineering industry. After interning in our Cleveland office, she rejoined our team as a full-time electrical engineer, listing her co-workers as a big motivator. 

Dominic Mascia, PE

Mechanical Engineer

Dominic Mascia is a mechanical engineering leader in our Columbus office, where he manages a variety of projects. Currently most of his focus is on higher education and healthcare.

Christopher Bayda

Associate | Senior Electrical Engineer

Chris Bayda is a valuable member of the Tec Inc. electrical engineering team and has been a member of our firm for more than ten years. As an associate for the firm, Chris provides key project leadership, including the coordination of the mechanical staff.

Mike Ferrante, PE

Mechanical Engineer

Mike Ferrante is a project manager and mechanical engineer. Since starting with Tec, much of Mike's work has been devoted to municipal, recreation, and park projects, in addition to administrative, office and commercial buildings.

Joe Parkinson is a valuable member of the Tec Inc. mechanical engineering team with more than five years of experience in the field. He provides our team with expertise in mechanical design, commissioning, and construction management.

Matthew Johnstone is a member of our electrical engineering & design team, working primarily from our Columbus office. After a year in the manufacturing industry, Matt joined the team to relocate to Columbus.

Max Kolomiyets is a member of our electrical engineering & design team, conducting his work primarily from our Cleveland office. Since joining the team after earning his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo, he has quickly progressed to managing projects.

Jaime Jasinski

Senior Mechanical Designer

One of the staff members with the most time spent at Tec Inc., Jamie Jasinski is a veteran plumbing designer for our Cleveland office.  With an extensive background in both hot and chilled water systems, Jaime's responsibilities include preliminary calculations, system selection, preliminary design, layout, and cost analysis.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Laura is a Mechanical Engineer as a member of our Eastlake team, designing HVAC, mechanical and plumbing systems for a wide variety of project types.

Drew Robinson, PE

Mechanical Engineer

Drew Robinson works in our Columbus office as a mechanical engineer and project manager. He joined Tec after he gained experience outside the industry, managing a business.

Steve Bohn

Steve Bohn is a leader in our electrical engineering and design team. He joined Tec Inc. directly after college and offers more than 20 years of engineering experience to his project teams.

Principal | Director of Mechanical Engineering

John Milenius is a professional mechanical engineer who leads the firm's mechanical engineering team. He has over three decades of experience and works to ensure HVAC project success.

Jonathan Geisler

Jonathan is a member of Tec Inc. Engineering & Design’s electrical engineering team. That practical focus continues in his work at Tec, where he supports a variety of project types.

Jinny Nguyen

Mechanical Engineer

Jinny Nguyen recently joined Tec, Inc. as a mechanical engineer. What she loves most about working at Tec is the dynamic nature of the team—from working on various types of projects, collaborating with her colleagues, to meeting new people/clients.

Tanner Koren

Electrical Engineer

Tanner Koren joined Tec as an electrical engineer after gaining hands-on experience in the MEP industry through an internship. With a strong interest in large-scale electrical systems, he enjoys designing electrical switchgear and motor control center equipment specific to clients' needs.

Electrical Engineer

Alex Schrag is a member of the Columbus office as an electrical engineer. Much of his focus has been devoted to higher education projects. He is organized and knowledgable in electrical distribution and design including medium and high voltage systems.

As one of our long-tenured employees, Steve Schwarten provides a long resume of diverse experience to a project team. Bringing tremendous focus to his technical drawings, Steve's design skills are an asset when it comes time to designing mechanical and plumbing systems.

Greshaud Allen, PE, LEED AP BD+C is a valuable member of the Tec Inc. mechanical engineering team and has more than a decade of experience in the field. He provides our team with expertise in project management and unique experience with energy modeling.

Associate | Director of Business Development & Marketing

Courtney Van Ostran is Tec Inc. Engineering & Design's Director of Marketing & Business Development, overseeing the firm's proposals, client interaction, and online presence, including leading the marketing department. Courtney also plays a large role in our firm's business development plans and activities.
