Tec Inc. welcomes Elizabeth Spellacy back to Electrical Team

Starting on Monday, May 18, the Tec Inc. team grows by one, when we welcome Elizabeth Spellacy as a full-time member of our office.

Elizabeth comes to the team after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University.

She previously spent the summer of 2019 as an intern with our firm (read her reflection on the internship) and quickly helped our engineering team find solutions for clients. Native to Lakewood, Ohio, she’ll be a member of our Cleveland office and work closely with Senior Electrical Engineer Stephen Bohn.

When asked about her desire to return to the Tec team after college, Elizabeth listed her co-workers as a major motivation. “I learned so much in such a short amount of time. Everyone was patient and willing to help to ensure I got the most out of my experience. That is rare to find.”

Our firm places a high value on engineers who are truly passionate about the work and Elizabeth certainly exemplifies that value.

When asked about her interest in pursuing a career in the MEP engineering field, Ms. Spellacy said, “while in high school, I had the opportunity to be involved with a four-year engineering program as well as a two-year electronics program. That's where I realized how much I loved engineering and design.”
